We are pleased to inform you that Department of Mechanical Engineering of our Institute is organising 5-Days International Workshop on ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING during March 12 - 16, 2018.

Additive Manufacturing, which involves highly complex processes dependent upon many process parameters, has significantly penetrated the medical, aerospace, automotive and tooling design applications. The latest industrial revolution, Industry 4.0, is encouraging the integration of intelligent production systems and advanced information technologies. AM is considered to be an essential ingredient in this new movement.

There is an increasing demand for an industrial workforce that is knowledgeable about the technologies and how to apply them to solve real-world problems. The participants of this 5-days International workshop will learn the importance of AM and technologies, devices, capabilities, materials and applications along with various software tools, processes and techniques. The course will help to explore various applications including Engineering, Biomedical & Bio-manufacturing, Aerospace, Consumer Products, and Creative Artistry to mention a few. The workshop also includes hands-on experience with samples and AM equipment.
