Amrutvahini College of Engineering 2018-01-20

A seminar on ‘Opportunities with Department of Atomic Energy’, was organized at Amrutvahini college of Engineering, Sangamner. A senior scientist at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre BARC, Mumbai, Dr. Devashish Rath & Scientific Officer BARC Shri. Anand Gangadharan were present as chief guests.

The Chief Executive Officer of Amrutvahini Sheti & Shikshan Vikas Sanstha Shri. Anil Shinde inaugurated the function and felicitated the guests.. The Principal Dr. M. A. Venkatesh , Vice-Principal Prof. A. K.Mishra, The Registrar Prof. V. P. Waghe & Training & Placement Officer Prof. Vinayak Shinde graced the occasion. Prof. Sheetal Gundal (HOD of Electronics) briefed about the session.

Dr. Devashish Rath and delivered the opportunities of Education, Research & Employment in the field of Atomic Energy for the BE students. He also informed regarding the qualifications required to get benefits of the opportunities as well as the admission procedures in BARC.

Shri. Anand Gangadharan explained the contribution of nuclear energy for the development of India in the field of Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals, Health, Power generation, Water purification, Safety of petrol pipe lines, Mars orbiter mission and Defense mechanism, he added.

The auspicious audience present for the function included all head of the departments, and Professors. The final year students of the departments of Electronics, E & TC and Electrical Engineering also attended the seminar. The host of the function Prof. Sandip Rahane introduced the guests and the session was concluded by Prof. Vilas Ubale by giving vote of thanks.
